Such an easy recipe that can be made to serve with infinite sauces. Only need three simple ingredients to make this amazing dish!
Method
1. Cook Potatoes: Add potatoes to a pot. Cover with water and bring to a boil. Cook for about 20 minutes. Remove from water and let cool on towels to absorb excess moisture.
2. Peel and Grate Potatoes: Remove the peels. Grate potatoes finely using a box grater or mash them up with a fork.
3. Mix Dough: Mound potatoes into the bowl with the flour and egg. Mix with a fork and then use your hands to slowly form a dough. It will get crumbly.
4. Knead Dough: Use your hands to gently bring the mixture together into a smooth dough. Don’t over-mix it and don’t over-flour it!
5. Gnocchify: Form into a loaf. Cut the loaf into slices. Roll each slice into a rope. Cut rope into small pieces.
6. Boil: Dust the small pieces with flour to prevent sticking. Working in batches, add the gnocchi to a pot of boiling water. When they rise to the top after 2/3 mins drain the gnocchi and set aside.
7. Add them to the sauce carefully- I made a spicy tomato chilli sauce. And then serve in bowls and grate Parmesan if you want on top.

Add the potatoes to the egg and flour bowl and then mix throughly
Lightly dust the surface with flour so that the gnocchi dough does not stick to it
Once the dough is kneeded, make long snake-like figure andthen cut these up into smaller pieces.
Once the gnocchi shape has been made, add it to a pan with boiling water and
the gnocchi should cook for around 2 mins or until it naturally rises to the top.
I served my gnocchi in a simple chilli and tomato sauce and
topped it with some freshly grated parmesean cheese.
